The goal of the Westbrook Youth Football Club is to provide a safe and productive environment that enables children to learn and apply the principles of teamwork, discipline, dedication, and sportsmanship.
We facilitate the development of strength and character in every child that participates. Participation in our league is open to all boys and girls. We are sustained by the efforts of volunteers who display an extraordinary amount of commitment and hard work, ensuring that our club is a positive influence in the lives of our children. We also strive to provide a service to our community by providing a healthy outlet for children, opportunities for the community to gather together, and endless hours of entertainment.
Enrollment includes the top of the line equipment for our players. We take your student athlete’s safety to our heart and provide Riddell speed Flex helmets that are custom fit to each player, and pads that are certified by the manufacturer before every season.
Our season begins with practices in August, a Jamboree the last weekend of August for the Mites (3rd/4th) and PeeWees (5th/6th), regular season games in September and October, and playoff games in early November for the middle school 7th/8th grade team.
We have a pre-season equipment meeting (July) and have multiple clinics off season. At the end of the season we have a banquet to recognize the skills and developments of all involved. (November)
